7 Questions

I recently came across another blog that has what I wear wednesdays so I decided that I'm going to change it to Fridays. "Be Fabulous Fridays" much more fitting for me. Now, my friend Gentrilee does something called 7 questions and I am going to be participating! Feel free to head on over there and link up too.

First step is to post a funny picture...

This is me and my friend Sherawn. I caught a tiny frog on my front lawn and kept it for a few days. This is our excitement about finding it.

#1. Are you a thrift shopper?
For sure! I love finding stuff to repurpose or decorate with etc. I have recently gotten better at finding clothes at thrift stores and implementing them into my wardrobe.

#2. You just had a very bad dream, what do you do?
Snuggle up to my husband. Maybe wake him up if it was a terrible dream so he can comfort me.

#3. What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?
I'm not a huge ice cream fan but when I'm craving it I want a brownie batter blizzard from DQ.

#4. What do you do with your money:(spend it, save it, invest it, bury it, etc)
I'm pretty good at not spending money but if its something I really want I'll treat myself:)

#5. What was the last quote or statement you heard that really hit you?
"Missing someone is a part of loving them, if you are never apart, you'll never know how strong your love really is."

#6. What do you do when you're driving alone? (ex: dance, sing, listen to talk radio, etc)?
I put my headphones in and either listen to a book, or pandora on Glee Cast Radio. So I can sing along of course.

#7. Did you watch the premier of Bachelorette? If so, who was your favorite bachelor?
Nope. I never really got into those shows.

Hope you learned a little more about me!
xoxo

What I've Been Reading

Sometimes my life is a little boring so sorry friends, I don't have anything awesome to blog about today. But I did just start reading two awesome books and that inspired me to write a post on what I've been reading. So here we go...

So far this book is pretty hilarious. Especially if u love her. My personal fave is date night. I nearly pee my pants every time I watch it. Even just thinking about it! Anyways I am listening to the book with my audible account. If you don't have one get one it is fantastic. The best part is she narrates it herself!

Divergent (Divergent, #1)

I litereally JUST (as in five minutes ago) downloaded Insurgent to my audible app on my iphone and I cannot wait to start listening to it! I'm home during the day all by myself and I get so bored and unproductive. So listening to a book helps me get stuff done for some reason. I really liked the first book (Divergent) although it was a little rough at one point and I stopped reading it for a few weeks out of anger lol. BUT once I finished it I was so glad I did because it is fantastic. Sort of a future society book like The Uglies, Pretties, and Specials series. Which I actually didn't like and never even finished. Maybe I'll try again.

These books are also set in a future society. I didn't like them quite as much as the Divergent series but they are a good read. The premise is that they find a "cure" for love aka "Amore Deleria Nervosa". Its pretty interesting.

And finally, The Night Circus. This is possibly the best book I have read in a really long time. You MUST read it. I recommend listening to it because the narrator does a perfect job. He has an accent, which not only makes it more magical, but is exactly what you imagine when reading it. Please read it. I'm not even gonna say any more about it because I want you to experience it yourself.

I'm always looking for good books to read/listen so if you have any opinions on these books, or ideas of new books for me to read please share!
xoxo
