Polka-dots and Green

Lately I've been loving green. I think it might be my favorite color of the moment. I also realized, when I was giving my closet a much needed organizing, that I have a LOT of polka dots. Who knew? I didn't realize I loved them so much. This is my most recent purchase that helped bring me to the realization that I just love polkadots and green. Especially together!

I also realized I have lots of A-symmetrical tops too. This one is an a-sym top but u cant tell cause its tucked. But I promise its cute. AND that there will probably be another outfit post to follow.

I wore it with my new-to-me geometric necklace and sequin pencils skirt (from Downeast Basics). This is my favorite skirt I own by far because its long enough to be modest, sparkly, and its unbelievably comfortable! The waist band is thick elastic and the skirt is stretchy so it is pretty universally flattering I would say I mean look at my booty!(pictured at top) Right?!

Anyways, hope you all have been fabulous all week long and that you are lovin my fashion posts.

Gettin Organized

I'm always on the search for the perfect planner/organizer. It is so hard and can get so expensive! I've tried the organizer on my phone, apps on my Kindle, hourly organizers, anything and everything! So I went to staples on the hunt and found this beauty...

Thank you Martha Stewart for your fantastic organizing tips. Even though she's a convicted felon you can't help but admore her skillz. This small 3ring teal binder was only ten bucks. Her collection also has seperate additions including, page dividers, pockets, note pages and calendars. All customizeable!

This front page is a daily task/to-do page printable that I found HERE through pinterest. I took it to a printer and had them shrink it to size to fit my binder.

Being a stylist/esthetician and Cosmetology Instructor, it gets confusing trying to throw all my appointments and two jobs onto one schedule. And it has proven even more difficult to find a calendar to fit my exact needs. SO I made my own.

This page spread is one week showing each day, with hourly slots and room for notes at the bottom.

Extra pages a friend made help me to not forget anything important.

I had the weekly shopping list, weekly menu planner, and monthly expenses all laminated so I can use a wet erase marker and change it every week. Easy and less paper.

Another reason I adored this Martha product was because it was the perfect size for my client data info. So now I have my client info, scheduler, notes, lists etc. all in the same place! No more seperate binders, planners, notebooks. YAY!!!!
